ACTION STRATEGIES

Citizen Voice seeks to reach those not yet involved and those seeking to maximize the impact of their current involvement - because they aren't yet inspired to do so, or informed about how to most effectively be engaged, or involved in tangible and effective avenues to build citizenship and protect the vulnerable.  We encourage citizens to get actively involved in the process of governance.  We also establish effective collaborative projects to bring both practical immediate intervention and long-term changes that protect the vulnerable.

Action Strategies Protect the Vulnerable Projects
Citizen Voice will offer a growing menu of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved in activities they genuinely care about.  Protect the Vulnerable Projects will include a wide-range of opportunities both geographically (from local to international) and demographically (from children, to elderly, animals, the disabled and more).  Specific examples may include child slavery, elder abuse, animal cruelty and more.

Likely Protect the Vulnerable Project components:

  • High-impact awareness efforts to showcase issues of the most vulnerable
  • Sharing of information regarding significant efforts that have been effective
  • Partnerships on specific projects to protect the vulnerable immediately and long-term

Citizen Involvement Projects
Our efforts are non-partisan.  Our Citizen Involvement Projects focus on inspiring citizens to become informed, sharing with them about how to help protect the vulnerable long-term through systemic change, and involving them in the process.

Citizen Involvement Project components may include:

  • High-energy voter awareness events, citizen involvement seminars and training academies
  • Broad distribution of non-partisan citizen involvement resources, information and links
  • Partnerships with other non-partisan efforts to maximize the impact, visibility and awareness of effective citizen involvement efforts 

Expanding the Citizen Voice Movement
To achieve the largest positive effect possible, movements must grow in their numbers and thus their impact.

Citizen Voice will expand through:

  • Extensive media exposure
  • On-demand online access
  • Dynamic public presentations
  • High-profile events
  • Widespread materials distribution
  • Effective partnerships with organizations, businesses and agencies
  • Extensive policymaker relationships
