CV’s Nonpartisan Election Project 2012 has kicked off and is moving ahead full speed!

Citizen Voice’s Nonpartisan Election Project is an ambitious, unprecedented project, with on-demand videos and easy-to-use written ballot measure summaries specifically created to help you, the voter, cut through the election clutter. Presenting both sides of the argument, the CV Nonpartisan Election Project is a unique information source – a genuine “toolkit for election-weary voters.” We've provided links to truly helpful voter material in video, audio and easy-to-understand short summaries.
This unique project gives you direct access to statewide ballot measure video “mini-debates” when it fits your schedule. Unlike 30-second ads, pre-packaged sound bites, deceptive mailers or speeches spun by political campaigns, these are highly valuable,

Help Bill Romanelli “Swim for Life” as he tears through a 10K…in the water! 440 laps for CV’s SAFELY OUT™ Project!

Join Citizen Voice in supporting master swimmer Bill Romanelli as he swims a 10K to raise funds to protect the vulnerable during disaster. Everything raised from the Citizen Voice Swim for Life event will be used to help get SAFELY OUT™ Kits to the vulnerable. Donate or sponsor and help protect our most vulnerable neighbors in the event of floods, fires and other disasters.The CV Swim for Life event is a very special fundraiser for the SAFELY OUT™ Project which has already distributed over 75,000 SAFELY OUT™ Kits. Every $10,000 raised provides 1,000 new SAFELY OUT™ Kits. This year the Citizen Voice Swim for Life takes place the first Saturday in June.

 

 

Citizen Voice’s adventure of a lifetime – 3Rims3Days: Trek to Protect a National Treasure

Citizen Voice has a great adventure for a good cause that you can be part of – 3Rims3Days: Trek to Protect a National Treasure, coming up June 21-25, 2012. Held in Yosemite,“trekers” will day hike the 3 rims from the floor of Yosemite Valley in 3 consecutive days, 1) Half Dome/Clouds Rest, 2) North Dome and 3) Glacier Point in honor of our mission to help protect our vulnerable created world. The donated proceeds are split equally between The Yosemite Conservancy, Bayside Adventure Sports, and Citizen Voice. An accomplishment to be proud of to say the least, the trek covers 40+ miles and over 14,000 feet of elevation gain, getting your heart pumping! Filled with challenging terrain and exhilarating views, you are in the best of Yosemite – a rare opportunity. Additionally, the trek provides experienced guides, on-trail medical staff, maps, snacks, as well as food and campsites in Yosemite Valley. Don’t miss out and spread the word amongst fellow hikers!
